Members of Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy gathered 2000 lbs. of food to benefit Mayor McCormac's Have a Heart Food Drive. A quarterly project run by Rotarians and Amazon more than doubled the donation from past years under the leadership of Club President Isabel Munoz.
Mayor McCormac leads the “Have-A-Heart” Food Drive every year in February. Township businesses, retail food service outlets, hospitality industry, corporate businesses and offices, community clubs and associations, scouts, schools and residents are invited to donate 214 pounds of food or contribute $214.00 to assist Woodbridge food pantires continue their work providing food and meals to area residents in need.
