The Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy and the Kiwanis Club of Perth Amboy squared off again on Saturday, December 10th, to ring the bell outside of two Woodbridge Township stores to raise funds for the Salvation Army of Perth Amboy. Rotary WPA exceeded their Club best and managed to raise more than the Kiwanians this year.
The Salvation Army is able to accept donations through this link: if you, a friend or family member would have liked to join Rotarians in the challenge to support the work of the Salvation Army beyond the season to meet the community needs.
The Woodbridge High School Interact Club Members joined Rotarians this year to help the cause. The energy and enthusiasm for service above self on a busy Saturday afternoon (certainly for their parents) was a gift to the Rotarians as much appreciated as the generosity of people who paused during the busiest shopping season of the year to share spare change to help the Salvation Army efforts.
Maybe next year, Kiwanians!
