On Thursday, January 19, Rotary WPA sponsored the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce Business Owner Resource Center (BORC) Lunch and Learn event by inviting Chamber members and interested business owners and entrepreneurs to a regular Rotary Club meeting.  Not only was the Chamber able to share the intent and schedule of 2023 monthly BORC events, but attendees were also informed about Rotary International and the opportunity to serve that can be fulfilled as a Rotarian in the Woodbridge Metro Area.

The topic for the joint effort was Payroll and HR: How to Choose the Right Solution for your Business, with speaker Jeanine Dargis, owner of Payroll Vault.

The Chamber has scheduled programs for 2023, which will also be held as breakfasts and happy hour events throughout the year to offer a variety of times for business owners in the Chamber of Commerce service area. Upcoming topics include Make Your Business Bankable with Parag Navatia on February 15, Revitalize Your Elevator Speech, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs, Storytelling for Business Marketing, LinkedIn and Alignable: Social Media for Today's Businesses, and Library Resources for Business Success.

The BORC Lunch and Learn of January 19th was the first event since February of 2020.  An informative, pleasant lunch was had by all, with a healthy exchange of business cards and experience.
