The Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy Foundation awarded scholarships in the amount of $50,000 to twenty-two students in Woodbridge Township for the 2023-24 school year.  This scholarship opportunity has been made available to senior high school students of Woodbridge Township who are pursuing a post-high school full-time course of study at an accredited college, university, trade school, or other educational institution.
“We are proud to have offered this opportunity to our high school students every year for the past 35 years,” commented Ray Zirpolo, Foundation Committee Chairperson. “There are seven areas of focus of Rotary International, and support for education has always been one of the priorities of the Rotary Club in Woodbridge.”
In addition to the scholarship program, Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy has run an annual spelling bee provided dictionaries to fourth-grade students, has provided food to local food banks and contributed funding and manpower to charities and organizations.
