Thank you to all students who have applied for scholarships the 2024-25 academic year. The application window is closed and succssful applicants were contacted with instructions to send their awards to their colleges or universities. Application for the 2025-26 academic year will be published on this site and available in Woodbridge High School Guidance Offices in January of 2025.
The Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy Foundation awarded scholarships in the amount of $35,000 to 33 students in Woodbridge Township for the 2024-25 school year. This scholarship opportunity has been made available to senior high school students of Woodbridge Township who are pursuing a post-high school full-time course of study at an accredited college, university, trade school, or other educational institution.
“We are proud to have offered this opportunity to our high school students every year for the past 35 years,” commented Ray Zirpolo, Foundation Committee Chairperson. “There are seven areas of focus of Rotary International, and support for education has always been one of the priorities of the Rotary Club in Woodbridge.”
In addition to the scholarship program, Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy has run an annual spelling bee provided dictionaries to fourth-grade students, has provided food and goods to local food banks and contributed funding and manpower to community charities and organizations.
