Rotarians turned out in force on a chilly December 1st to help distribute an Amazon donation of toiletries, food and other goods to Woodbridge area pantries, churches and charitable organizations.
Drs. Eddie and Armie Farcon arranged to receive the delivery to Access Storage in Woodbridge with the support of Rotarian and Access Storage Manager Isabel Munoz.
“During the pandemic we (Access Storage) regularly helped many of our local churches distribute food to families in need. It is good to be able to help people again,” said Ms. Munoz.
Club President Amy Krysienski contacted We Feed Woodbridge Director Peter Barcelona who manages a network of churches and food pantries.
Club members received and distributed nine pallets of goods in one hour. “It was a great turnout for an incredible success. It couldn’t have been run better,” commented Amy.
